Packaging distributor RAJAPACK UK has changed its name to RAJA UK, aligning the Bedfordshire-based supplier with the brand used by its parent company, RAJA Group, across Europe. The company said the change gives customers one recognizable name across the 19 European countries the group serves.

RAJA UK has supplied UK businesses since 1998 and says it serves more than 43,000 of them. The RAJA Group was founded in France in 1954 by Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher, whose first names were combined to form the company name.

Tom Rodda, managing director of RAJA UK, said the name had changed but the service customers rely on had not: the same people, product range and next-day service remained in place. He also pointed to a free tool designed to make peak planning easier.

Peak-cost planning

The Prepare for Peak tool helps businesses estimate what their busiest weeks will cost their packing operation, and what they could save, ahead of Black Friday on 27 November. RAJA UK described the result as an illustrative estimate, not a quotation.

Users choose their industry to see how far orders typically rise at peak, using benchmarks that combine Office for National Statistics retail data with RAJA order data from 2023 to 2025. They then enter their own figures, such as parcels handled per day and the number of people packing.

The company said the tool is intended to give businesses a numerical starting point for planning peak packing costs. The rebrand and the tool were announced together, with RAJA UK presenting the group name as a way to make its brand easier to recognize across European markets while keeping its UK service proposition unchanged.
