Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular multi-function pole system that combines lighting, connectivity and site technology in one vertical structure. The company says the updated product responds to growing demand from municipalities, campuses and commercial developers for integrated infrastructure that expands site capabilities without adding visual clutter or additional cost.
SHUFFLE stacks Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV-charging capabilities into a pole designed for straightforward activation and installation. Its modular components are intended to allow customization and future adaptability, while the integrated design aims to bring modern aesthetics and operational efficiencies to busy, multi-use environments.
The relaunch is positioned as a response to the proliferation of single-purpose pole-mounted devices in space-constrained public areas. By consolidating multiple functions, SHUFFLE is intended to help project teams add services without separate single-purpose installations or visual clutter.
Configuration and features
Landscape Forms has also introduced a new build feature on its website to simplify configuration. Clients can specify preferred camera and technology brands and select from a range of options within each category. The company says this approach lets site designers tailor the system to a project’s requirements.
New feature updates include options designed for plug-and-play simplicity: a 360-degree area light, a decorative light ring, a 180-degree area light, quad-view and 180-degree cameras, motion sensors, and loudspeaker and intercom modules.
“This is the solution site designers have been waiting for,” said Shannon Lee, Business Development Manager for Smart Poles at Schréder. She said SHUFFLE was designed to fit busy public spaces with product and feature sets that can be updated as site needs evolve. According to Lee, safety and connectivity are integrated into outdoor spaces without dominating them, making the system accessible and user friendly.
Applications and design intent
Because SHUFFLE can be configured for specialized environments as well as general public spaces, Landscape Forms positions it for locations where people gather to work, travel, study and recreate. Potential applications cited by the company include university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls and tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals. In these settings, the company says the pole’s multi-use adaptability and communication features can help site managers address a range of requirements.
Jordan Agustin, President of Lighting at Landscape Forms, said SHUFFLE represents the kind of thinking the industry needs: technology and design working together to make outdoor spaces safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics. He said the new features integrated into the streamlined design enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor space while advancing Landscape Forms’ mission of connecting people to the outdoors and each other.
